Rediscovering Your Passions and Living Boldly
Hello Reader
I want to share a story that might inspire you to take that bold step towards rediscovering your passions.
Picture this: everyone’s going to the summer event of the year. The neighbors, your friends—everyone. You’ve got your revenge outfit ready, a fresh haircut, and you’re excited, especially after the divorce. But then, you find out you weren’t invited. Anger and disappointment take over, and you vent to your sister. You email me, eager for our session, and I can sense something’s up.
The next day, we barely finish our opening prayer when you blurt out, "I can't believe I wasn’t invited. I’ve been attending this event for over 18 years." You spill your feelings, and I listen. The first thing I say is, "It's okay that you weren’t invited." You look at me with a mix of anger and surprise.
I know this is not a popular opinion.
I explain, "You feel left out, and it sucks. It’s disappointing not to be invited to an event that’s been your summer norm for so long. It’s painful because they sided with your ex."
Then, I share that this is a chance to attend an event you truly want to go to. We look up events in your city, and you get excited, narrowing it down to three. You have a stunning dress and a great haircut.
You say, "I can’t attend this event by myself." I tell you to choose your outfit, get your accessories ready, and head to Sephora for a professional makeup session. You listen and do it.
The day of the event arrives. We speak, and you send me pictures—you look fabulous. You were nervous, but you did it, and later told me you were so glad you went. I was thrilled for you.
Now, think about your own passion project. I know it’s scary to start something new on your own. That’s why I provide a structured way to pursue your passion project. Whether it’s related to health, adventure, creativity, or relationships, book a call with me. In 12 weeks, you’ll have your passion project checked off—whether it’s dating, picking up a hobby like roller skating (just like a client of mine in her 60s did), or going on a solo adventure to Europe, as another client did after her divorce.
